Cool 7" comp that came with an issue The Bug Hurt fanzine from somewhere in Illinois, featuring two of Toronto's best, and also 86 Mentality! Limited to 500 copies on red wax.

 This record is a masterpiece. Everything on Your Rules from the front cover to all of the art, to the songs show the mastering of the suburban hardcore aesthetic. Although this record came out in '05, it could have easily come out of Orange County in like 1981. Definitely one of my favourite Toronto records ever. Your Rules also includes rerecorded versions of my favourite Terminal State songs, Your Rules and Four Walls which were originally on the demo. Fucking rad.

The insert features flyer art for shows I can only dream of having gone to.

Terminal State - Sick

This was Terminal State's last record, put out shortly before Ivan and Ben went on to form School Jerks. This 7" totally rules. Perfectly executed snotty hardcore

which sounds just a bit more refined than their earlier stuff. There are two alternate sleeves for this 7", the yellow tour sleeve pictured, and another alternate cover  both which housed the white vinyl variant and were limited to 150 copies.

Arguably the weakest of Terminal State's four records, but still not too bad. Not sure how many of these were pressed but there's a clear vinyl variant and I've heard of clear variants with red and purple swirls and a black swirled variant limited to 15?

Although sounding like Black Flag is a description that gets thrown around very generously,  Terminal State very much sounds like pre-Damaged Black Flag. This is the excellent demo by one of Toronto's most underrated bands that was pressed onto 225 7"s with plain gold dust sleeves. The test press of this record is limited to 22 copies and actually features more elaborate art than the record itself.
