Year: 2003, 2004?, 2009
Label: Deranged Records

Tracks:

1. Quarantined

2. Sucker
3. Part And Parcel
4. While You're Ahead

Quarantined is without a doubt my favourite Career Suicide song. Like Cherry Beach, the song deals with some serious Torontonian shit that went down prior to our mayor smoking crack, which in this case was the SARS crisis. From the coughing at the opening to Martin’s bratty “boo hoo hooing” at the end, this is an anthem best suited for jumping on people’s heads at a show. The pressing info on this one is a little iffy. Some of these guys came in fold-out sleeves, others in pocket sleeves, some labels were red, others were blue, others were blank, some came with the CS logo on the top left hand, others came on the right, and some even came with none at all, and the record was pressed on clear and black vinyl. Weird, right. I’m pretty sure it broke down something like this: the first press was out of 1000 and featured blue labels and fold-out sleeves, 500 of which came with printed labels on the top-right hand corner of the cover, and 500 of which came with hand-stamped labels on the top-left hand corner of the cover and featured a CS stamp on the dust sleeve. A second pressing of 500 had the CS logo on the top-right in a darker ink than the first press, a pocket-style sleeve with an additional insert, and red labels. I don’t know anything about what the third pressing was except that 500 were pressed on black, and 200 came with blank labels and makeshift sleeves, some of which were hand-stamped for the 2004 West Coast tour. Finally, a mysterious fourth press was done in 2009 on clear vinyl, and maybe some on black, some sleeves of which had the CS logo screened on and some of which didn’t. Jesus.

There's also a hand-stamped West Coast tour variation of the record out of 200 but I think some are missing the stamp. So much confusion.

Here's a picture of a test press of what I believe is the first press of this record. 10 copies of this exist.
