Reprobates - Stress EP

Year: 2008
Label: No Way Records

Tracks:

1. Failure
2. Rat Maze

3. Stress
4. Abandoned City
5. Gone To Shit

Likely one of the most underrated Toronto records of all time. Jerry's Kids are possibly my favorite 80s hardcore band and I've never heard a band that's sounded more similar to them. Everything from the raspy vocals, to the pulsing riffs and the uncontrollable drum beats resembles Boston's finest. This is also the only Toronto record to be put out on Richmond, Virginia's excellent No Way Records. 1000 of these were initially pressed, with 200 mail order copies on white with red and black labels, and another 800 on black with black and white labels.
The test pressing comes with a cool (and mildly daring) alternate sleeve and is limited to 17 copies although I believe that No Way told the band that there were only 6. 500 of these fuckers were also done for a second pressing, and 300 of them are missing lyrics due to a misprint of the insert. Awesome, awesome record. Go buy one.
