Kudos to Fucked Up for doing a charity single that actually
goes towards legitimate causes,.100% of the proceeds of this single went
towards Justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, the DTES Power of
Women Group, and Sisters in Spirit, all of which deal with racialized and
sexualized violence against Aboriginal women in Canada. Here’s a poppier FU
single with a cover of one of the dumbest songs in human history as a B-side.
Bob Mould, Tegan and Sara, Andrew W.K., GZA, Yo La Tengo, Kevin Drew, and that
dude from Vampire Weekend all appear on this star-studded piece of wax. 2500
copies were pressed on black with another 50 or so on green camo vinyl.
